Life has seasons of waiting, uncertainty, and even brokenness. Sometimes, it may feel like all hope is lost—like dreams have cracked, opportunities have expired, and you are left empty-handed. But let me encourage you today: New eggs are coming!
Just as a mother hen patiently sits on her eggs, knowing something new is forming inside, God works behind the scenes in your life. Even when it seems like nothing is happening, God is preparing something fresh, new, and alive.
If you’ve been in a season of waiting, disappointment, or struggle, hold on—because God is about to birth something new in your life.
1. New Life Comes After Seasons of Waiting
When a hen lays eggs, there is no immediate sign of life. The eggs must go through a time of incubation—a hidden process that prepares them to hatch at the right time.
Maybe you have been praying, believing, and waiting for a breakthrough, but nothing seems to change. It feels like God is silent, but silence is not absence.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Waiting is not wasted when God is involved. Even when you don’t see movement, He forms something inside your situation that will be revealed in due time.
2. Cracked Shells Are a Sign of Breakthrough
When the time comes for a chick to hatch, it struggles to break free from the eggshell. The process is complex, but it is necessary for growth and strength. If the shell breaks too soon or too easily, the chick may not survive.
Many times, our breakthrough comes through pressure and persistence. God allows us to go through challenges not to crush us, but to strengthen us. The struggle is proof that something new is being born.
2 Corinthians 4:17 declares:
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
Don’t give up if you feel like you are pushing through a tough season! Your breakthrough is closer than you think. Keep pressing in, because the shell is about to break!
3. A New Season Means New Blessings
When new eggs come, fresh opportunities, restored joy, and unexpected blessings are on the way. God is not a God of lack but of abundance.
Isaiah 43:19 declares:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Your past does not define you. Your failures do not limit you. God is bringing something new into your life!
Prepare for the New:
- Let go of the past. You can’t embrace new eggs if you’re holding onto old disappointments.
- Expect God to move. Faith opens the door for new blessings.
- Stay connected to God. The best way to step into the new is to stay close to the One who brings it.
4. Your Best Days Are Not Behind You—They Are Ahead!
The enemy wants you to believe that your best days are over, that you’ve missed your moment, or that things will never change. But that is a lie.
Job 8:7 says:
“Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.”
New eggs are coming. New beginnings are ahead. New opportunities are forming. What God has prepared for you is greater than anything you’ve lost.
The enemy cannot stop God’s promises from hatching in your life. If He said it, He will do it!
5. The Wait Will Be Worth It
A hen never sits on her eggs in vain. She knows that what she has been covering, protecting, and preparing will come to life in time.
In the same way, God has not forgotten you. He has not ignored your prayers. He has not abandoned His promises. What He started in you, He will complete!
Philippians 1:6 assures us:
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
You may have been in a season of waiting, pressing, and struggle—but God is faithful! New eggs are coming, and when they hatch, you will see the goodness of the Lord in your life like never before.
Final Word: Get Ready for the New!
Whatever you have been praying for, believing for, and waiting for—trust that God is working.
New eggs are coming. New breakthroughs are coming. New joy is coming. God is about to do something fresh in your life.
What You Can Do Now:
- Keep believing: Don’t let delays make you doubt God’s promises.
- Stay expectant: Keep your heart open for new opportunities.
- Prepare for what’s coming: Position yourself for blessings by staying faithful.
Declaration of Faith:
“Lord, I trust that You are doing something new in my life. Even when I don’t see it, I believe that new opportunities, new blessings, and new breakthroughs are on the way. I will not give up—I will press forward, knowing that You are faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Get ready—your season of new beginnings is here!
